Back in August, we announced that Spotify had been named Samsung’s new go-to music service provider, bringing a more seamless, multi-device listening experience to their users. Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve brought our partnership to the next level. Spotify will be pre-installed on the newest Samsung mobile devices, so music and podcast lovers can start listening as soon as they turn on their new phone.

The new Galaxy S10 line of phones, rolling out now, come with Spotify as the default music streaming app and service. What’s more, the handsets also include six months of free Spotify Premium. Open the Spotify app preloaded on your Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G or Note20 5G Ultra, Galaxy S20 5G, S20+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy A51, or Galaxy A71 5G. Log in or create an account, and tap the ‘Premium’ tab on the bottom of your screen to learn how you could get your first six months of Spotify Premium for free. Music streaming platform Spotify has expanded an initial partnership with Samsung with not only the launch of the Galaxy S10, but with future devices from other Android smartphone series as well. With the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ all officially launching today, music streamer Spotify has announced that its Android app will be pre-installed on all three models in the U.S. Additionally, the Spotify app will come loaded out of the box on the Samsung Galaxy Fold, and certain Galaxy A units in the states as well.
